Emergence
Emergence WG
The "Emergence" working group (WG) is a WG carrying out tasks in the field of vigilance, which is not attached to an expert committee.
Its job is to:
- identify or report emerging risks using three complementary approaches:
- discussing unusual clinical cases,
- conducting automated statistical detection,
- performing literature monitoring,
- propose preventive action where appropriate,
- identify French clinical cases that should be brought to the attention of the members of the European OccWatch platform (https://occwatch.anses.fr ) coordinated by ANSES, for discussion; the platform's aim is to enable exchanges between European occupational health practitioners on potentially emerging risks and/or pathologies;
- analyse signals from other vigilance or surveillance networks identified by the members of the WG or submitted to them, specifically after discussion with the steering committee of the National Network for the Monitoring and Prevention of Occupational Diseases (RNV3P).
